95% of good communication is good listening and understanding the other's perspective. Perfect fluency isn't necessarily an advantage - people with dyslexia who can't read fluently actually perform better in some fields and it's thought that this is because they exert a lot of effort to read and thus understand things at a higher conceptual level - like hand writing notes is often better than typing them faster.
