Yes. I know you’ve been told this but you need to slow down and take your time. An analogy to use is Barrack Obama doing public speeches. Whether you align with him politically or not, he has a very unique slow and calm way he speaks. He takes very long pauses, pauses that I Feel I could never take. But as I’ve learned to slow down and if I’m going to get stuck on a word I stop trying for a moment and maybe try to come at it after a long pause like I’ve been thinking about it and now have the answer Also then Christopher walken who has a totally unique speaking style and pace and it works but is the opposite of the one above. So just slow down and pace yourself and think about becoming a slower and more reflective speaker for a bit and that it’s OKAY for you to pause when answering. That’s what I have a hard time with, unforeseen questions put on the spot and I go “uhh ummm uhh” like when someone asks me my name and I’m not prepared to say it. But I’ve been slowing down and thinking “they can wait for my answer”
