Do I understand it right that you could choose between either creating powerpoint slides without having to talk or having to talk without creating slides? In that case: Don't stress yourself out, don't overthink it. It took me a long time to accept, that it's totally ok and normal to take the easy road sometimes. Everybody does that, stutterers and non-stutterers alike. We just do it in different situations than non-stutterers. Sometimes I feel "weak" and feel like I chicken out, but then again I tell myself that I don't always have to go for the tough option. There is a place and time when we should, but not 100% of the time. Always taking the confrontational way is super exausting - nobody does that. And anyways: If I panic way before a presentation and can't let go mentally, I just built up the tension and pressure inside my body. And normally that's just gonna make it worse. So choosing not to talk is fine and probably the wiser choice sometimes.
