Trust me, there's no therapy that can help suppress/stop stuttering. In the end of the day, it's up to our will and mind to learn how to cope with situations when stuttering prevails and takes over our body and voice. In therapies they teach you exactly that, how to deal with stutter, that's why I gave up long ago, after being in and out of so many treatments. Our field is so underestimated. Doctors and speech therapists use same methods, that have been known for DECADES. They don't want to dig deeper and get to the core problem of stuttering. They don't realise that stutterers don't stutter 24/7. That's why in therapies they can consider you "making progress" but in reality, you simply don't have control over it (whether you stutter or not) In conclusion, stuttering is just a side effect of waaay bigger underlying problems that just pilled up together.
