Do people look at u like you’re slow when u stutter? Even speech therapists?

Do people look at u like you’re slow when u stutter? Even speech therapists? I work in healthcare and although I hide my stutter I do tend to slip up once in a while and whenever it happens people look at me like I’m stupid. Some of my coworkers think I’m quiet but I only come off that way because i don’t want to embarrass myself and stutter in front of everyone. My stutter is on the milder side and it surprises me that some of the speech therapists where I work give me a look too when I stutter during our conversations. It’s really frustrating living with a stutter and people looking at u like you’re stupid I feel like it has ruined my social life.
