Hi. I’m sorry to hear you have had to endure that nonsense. Ignorant if ever there was. I had oral exams many moons back and my teacher at the time had a word in the examiners ear. There was a certain sensitivity afforded to me…it helped a great deal. I imagine you felt under great pressure on the day and in itself, it would have hindered you. Even though we can agree you knew your stuff!!! Agreed. Can you identify someone at faculty you can approach discreetly and in confidence and speak your truth. Perhaps an appeal, an overturn of results etc.. at least to be validated!! I’m saddened to hear you have been treated in bad faith…a key message in this Reddit is that stammering does not define you. And it doesn’t. How you presented on the day does not define your overall engagement with med school. Please keep us posted
