Trained neck, and the soreness made the stutter numeral times worse A curious experience: 2 days ago i trained my neck all around really instensively (cause of chronic neck pain). Yday and today i have the expected neck muscle fever. But something unexpected to that: in a 100% anxiety-free state my stutter is absolutely insane, every single syllable gets naturally stuck, and it is evident, that it's because of the muscle tension/soreness. No technique helps, it is out of my control, it is like a constant low-medium block, onto which comes the anxiety block in speech situations, and speech is almost impossible; but already alone and 100% chill I am stuck on every syllable. I wonder how much we underestimate the muscle-side of stuttering. For example all the "speech techniques" are like speech-muscle training. They work in the *short run*, but what if they create extra soreness, underlying tension in the *long run*?
