If you're in school it's usually pretty easy. You can just go up to a girl and ask her about a class, ask her if she's ready for a test coming up, ask what other classes she has, if she's in any clubs or sports. Make it easy on yourself and just start with what you have in common: school. You don't have to think of a girl as a dating prospect straight away.
