When I was a kid I was the only one in my whole family who stuttered. It felt lonely sometimes, because no one really understood why i hated certain things (like meeting new oeopke, making phone calls, etc). We moved a lot, so I had to meet new classmates a lot. It was awful because I can't say my name because of my stutter, so the meet and greet round at the beginning of the year where helllllllll. Still can't say my name btw hahaha. Now I'm a grown woman and my oldest kid (now 14) also stutters. She has a pretty rough time because of it. We both stutter very differently though, so I help her everywhere I can. But I let my partner handle all the phone calls 😆 I never met another person who stutters though, which is weird because I met a lot of people
