Hello, sure ...First we need to fix all the bad behaviors that we have developed because of stuttering, because we are doing them for so long they come auto/subconcious and we dont even notice them when we do them.. So first thing you need to do is that next time when you block, just notice your physical behavior that what are you doing , if the word starts with B or P and you blocked just notice are you pushing hard with lips and stopped your phonation and breathing... if the words starts with K or G just observe your throat how much pressure you have put and are you blocking the phonation by building air pressure... The thing is if block comes it comes, you block but without any effort .... **Now your question should be , if i dont push or put effort when i block, how am i going to get out of block** The answer is putting effort/pushing never gets you out of the block, you think it does but believe me it does not, these are the behaviours which will never let you dissolve your stutter.... you are pushing through blocks your whole life, did they helped ? are you recovered ? obviously no... so stop it... **Now your question should be , aah okay.. but how will i say the word then ?** Here is the thing.. this is not a technique its a speech rule..we need to maintain forward flow of speech.. so suppose you want to say a word **"book"** and you got a block on it.. and you started to push BBBBBBBB or b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b just stop right there...stop,release the tention from jaw , from throat just relax..those stress hormones will ask you to push but you need to have commitment to not push just relax stop...and do this Shape B with your lips and say "OOK"... you will be amazed it will sound exactly like Book... Now what you did was instead of pushing through block and strenghtning the neural pathways for pushing. you stopped you shaped B with lips and moved to OOK... And this is where your habits will start to change.. and slowly and slowly you will see blocks will become less and less frustrating and dissipate Now sometimes you will shape the B with lips and even (OOO) will not come out, its because of all the tention in your throat that you are unable to phonate the throat .. so you have to really practice and starts to lower tention in throat ..
