Since talking is work, dating is work. I get very exhausted after talking for long periods of time. My thinking process when it comes to dating differs from most I believe. Here's an example of an unsuccessful date. Let's say I make $20 an hour at my job. I go on a date with a woman that ended in it not being successful (ie. incompatibility). The final bill of that date ends up being $50. $50 would require me to work 2.5 hours at my place of employment. Since the date was unsuccessful, the $50 I spent did not benefit me in any way shape or form. Not to mention the time lost over the duration of the date. I could have easily taken that money and time and done something else that I know I would get value from. So an unsuccessful date resulted in me being $50 poorer and time wasted. Yes, $50 isn't much at all but I still do not like to waste any amount of money.
