I had a similar experience in my college internship a few years ago. I was put in charge of tutoring kids ages 9 - 12 and they also asked me the same questions when my stutter/blocks would eventually crop up. However, as kids, i don't think their curiosity/mocking comes from a place of malice necessarily. They probably have never come across someone with a stutter before, and they just do what kids usually do, which is laugh and ask silly questions. I'm sorry you went through this. Trust me I understand your pain. However, please don't let this one experience discourage you from facing your fears head on. If you shy away from your stutter and try to hide it, it will do nothing but hinder you.
