Agreed. I know that I would come across 10x smarter/funnier than I would if I could simply say 100% what was on my mind. Stuttering definitely limits what one wants to fully express or convey. I feel like my life would be a lot different if I didn’t stutter. Don’t get me wrong, I have faced my fears and had jobs such as waiting tables and even positions in hospitality at 5 star hotels. Today, I work in IT and talk to people a lot. However, there is nothing worse than only half expressing what you really want to say to avoid sounding like an idiot.
