Thanks for posting this. I worry about this all the time. My wife and I are about to start trying and I worry so much about this. However, I know I’m not who I am today without the stutter struggle. I’m more empathetic, understanding, and honest because of my stutter. I think it’s super natural to want an easy life for our kids, but the reality is probably that the best we can do is pass on how to get from one day to the next regardless of their circumstances. Frankly, if it isn’t the stutter, there will be something else. And imo, the fact that you are even concerned about how to raise a kid with these challenges means you’re a pretty good parent already!
