It's interesting...I'll occasionally answer for us when we're spoken to-like we're out to eat and the waiter takes our order- but I'm careful about not finishing his sentences for him. I assumed it would send the message that I'm trying to speak for him or that I think he can't do it himself. I'd never considered that it might save embarrassment. I need to think about whether I wanna ask him It seems like you think it bothers me much more than it does. I'm not sure why you say I'm taking such a bold stance or what hill you're talking about. That's all really your own interpretation.
