What advice do you have for someone dating someone who stutters?

What advice do you have for someone dating someone who stutters? Happy Friday Eve! I have a date soon with a guy who stutters. Most all of our conversations have been through text so I don't know how bad. He has some social anxiety probably as a result of growing up with a stutter. He is rather shy, quiet and sweet. What things can I do to make him more comfortable? Every bit helps! I'm hoping you can share things friends and family do that help you. Thank you all! P.S. I have read through a lot of posts here and the side bar some already. Post Date Edit: We went to see The Martian in 3D. We ate before the movie at the theater, gourmet grill cheese! Through the car ride, ordering, and the hour before the movie everything went great! I didn't notice any speech issues and it wouldn't have mattered if I had. The movie was excellent. We went out again last thursday. This time we went to see Top Gun at a park on the river. We set up a picnic with Chipotle and gummy worms! It started pouring down rain 5 minutes into the movie, luckily we finished eating first. We kissed a bit while cuddled under a little blanket waiting out the rain. The only thing I have noticed is that sometimes he takes an extra couple of moments for him to say something. This could be him taking the time to think out what he's going to say or a block. I keep doing whatever I was doing when he does this, whether it be messing with something or looking at him. Everything seems to be great. Thanks for the great advice!
