Yes. I do understand my father's perspective because if it's that simple "use the method for a year, suffer and you will be cured for the rest of your life" then he said it for my own good. Because he was actually right, if i relapsed i will keep stuttering all my life, wich is the main thing that makes me unhappy. But at that time i didn't understand those consequences yet. My stutter did improve but i don't know if it was because of the therapy or if it just improved over time. At school i was really confident and some people never even noticed my stutter. But after i finished high school i've isolated myself for 2 years in my room staying lonely and depressed because of the fear of my stutter, wich made it worse again. It would be really helpfull if i knew what caused a stutter because it would be easier to focus on that part so you'll be able to improve it you know
