Right- I didn’t want to speak for him but I realized during that pause that he was totally blocking on his name and I heard my own son blocking on his name in the background. I felt like I should have known to start a conversation with a different question. When he couldn’t get his name out and he wrote it I didn’t know if that was a fail on my part. Thank you for the reassurance. I’m working so hard to raise awareness and to create allies that the last thing I want to do is to be the jerk.
