Definitely. This comes up too often in this subreddit and I don't particularly get it. It never affected me as much. There are two possibilities: - They interrupt unintentionally and you can't exactly hold them accountable for that. Everyone does it. - They don't care what others have to say and are dismissive of others in social interactions, which means they're assholes. And assholes will be assholes whether you stutter or not. If it's the first, do not take it to heart if it infrequently happens. If it's the second, stand your ground against the asshole. You air it out and set the tone. And there is no resentment to harbor. I may get shit for this, but I'll say it anyway. Some stutterers are just timid. Getting interrupted is the least of it. Some posts I read here shock me in terms of the disrespect they allow. Do not confuse your STUTTERING problem with your ASSERTIVENESS problem, because you can work on becoming more assertive even if you stutter. And these problems will cease.
