Doing martial arts with a stutter A lot of sports are super social, with some BJJ schools requiring introductions each class, for example. I do BJJ, boxing, and karate and find that some days I can hold conversations just fine, but the next class I won’t be able to say a word to anyone outside of my closer friend group. Does anyone else do martial arts? Boxing, karate, Brazilian jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, etc. If you do, how do you find yourself handling it? Does it help, or does it make your stutter feel worse?
