Black Swan Green I don’t know how many of you know about this book. I didn’t until my friend recommended it to me a few months ago and I can’t find any mention of it in this subreddit. But I would really recommend the book to anyone here that’s interested. It’s is a book set in England in 1982 from the prospective of a 13 year old boy with a stutter. The author, David Mitchell, has a stutter and the book does the best job I have ever seen of describing just how it feels both physically and emotionally to have a stutter. The feelings and thought processes. Personally I don’t think I’ve ever related to a character as much as I did with the main character in this book. It’s also a good story and I really enjoyed it. I read the whole thing in a couple of days. If anyone is interested I have a pdf of the book that I can send. Just thought I’d share cause I think ye might like it too
