:| Maybe call them [_Speech-Language Pathologists_](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speech-language_pathology) instead, leaving out the "therapist" part. Or _clinicians_, as the text says. But I suspect even that wouldn't be enough... Btw. speech therapy does start at a "low level", but that's rather the point: To build a structure for you to use. (I think we have a few SLPs hanging around in here, they'll be able to elaborate on the specifics.)
