One of the biggest things was realizing that nobody really cares. At least in a professional setting. It's a thing, once they know, they are accommodating where needed like any other disability. At the end of the day, the people who will look down on your for your stutter are the same ones who would look down on someone in a wheelchair. Those people suck and aren't worth the mental energy to care about what they think. Surround yourself with supportive people and screw the rest of them. My I suggest a book called "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a %$#@" fantastic read that focuses on the fact that you should consciously choose what to actually care about.
