Age 4-14 I wasted an hour of my art class 3x week to have some idiot have me repeat The Quick Red Fox Jumped Over the Lazy Dogs like that was going to do anything.  I tried the speech easy and while it works for some people it was the most annoying sensation to hear the sound of my voice chipmunked and on a delay. It kept me fluent but I could not carry a train of thought.  I am positive that had they just let me have my art class and protected me from bullying by educating my peers would have done more for my stuttering than any of the fools I saw. Those people should have just told my parents they couldn't help me vs taking the money and essentially doing nothing to help. They had no idea and they knew it but I was just a kid.  If you don't like it, as an adult you can leave or try more than one
