I’m about ten years older than you, but your story is very similar to mine. I’d love to tell you that there’s always the chance that you will somehow cure your stutter down the road, but realistically it will be a part of you for the rest of your life. I’ve only come to accept that fact recently. Once you accept it and allow people to see who you are, it feels like a great weight has been lifted. I now order exactly what I want at restaurants because I no longer give a shit at what people think of my fluency. Do what I did and your life will improve drastically. Good luck.
