I am ace at giving presentations. Here are my tricks. 1. Practice the hell out of it. Even the best speakers practice a ton before hand. Practice to the point that you dont even have to have the visual aids to do the presentation and know it almost by heart. That will save you so much stress. Also you will be able to work out the kinks and avoid the words that you may get stuck on. 2. Sleep well the night before. If you are anxious, take some melatonin and drink warm milk. take a warm bath and sleep properly. Your speech is far more likely to not act up if you have slept. 3. Be realistic but optimistic. The goal is to communicate- not to be fluent, or perfect. Its to relay the information in a way that the listener understands. Thats it. If you stutter, you wont die nor will anyone else. Good luck. The more you practice, the luckier you'll get- Babe Ruth.
