M17, non-stutterer here. As some other people have said here already, people are considerate. Unless theyre total jerks, they will not laugh at you due to your stutter. More likely is that they simply do not know how to react and laughing is the default response of the brain for such situations. I know this quite well as it got me into uncomfortable situations quite a few times. Also, you said you wanna get to know new people, if you want, dm me as i like talking to people from all over the world and getting to know more about them, and would gladly talk to you if you want/need it.
