Your impending surgery. I have read that better airflow techniques alleviate stuttering, though what I think they meant is inhalation through the mouth and ‘belly breathing’ like trained singers do. I think the surgery will either have no affect or maybe improve it. I’m no specialist, only a recovered stutterer. Let’s hope someone in the know will respond. If you contact a speech therapist, even from a university, they may have an answer. Sue
