Idk, I’ve found that by constantly putting myself in uncomfortable situations that force me to speak and interact with others more, my stutter has gotten significantly better. It’s taken a long time and definitely not for everyone but it’s worked out for me. Do I still get nervous in these situations such as ordering food? Yeah, sometimes. But at the end of the day I don’t really care. I was a pizza delivery driver for a while. I pretty much only took the job (other than money) because it confronted me with two of my least favorite things. Interacting one on one with people in an uncontrolled environment and driving. Even after leaving the job, I’m more confident with both.
