Honestly I own it. I have a stop stutter. When I start to feel it I say “sorry I have a stutter”. Which I’m able to say perfectly for some reason. And then I maybe stutter one word out, which they’re already expecting, and continue on with no errors. But people are understanding, and usually patient if I ask them to just give me a moment to get the words out.
