I was like that when i was younger. Now i have to do the same in meetings of 16-20 people. Still don't like it. Still get clammy hands and racing heart. How do i cope? Right as i enter the room I assign most people with a label based on who they look like to you. So you might have 'Uncle Billy' and 'Dr Who' sat next to 'Winston Churchill' sat next to 'Aunt Mavis's old neighbour'. It really helps take your mind off and put you a little more at ease with familiar people. Cheers.
