Also, try finding a excercise-related hobby - our bodies are designed to respond well to that both mentally and physically. Guided meditation is also a great tool to try, don't think yoga-like poses etc. but rather mental exercise which helps you to be more in control of what you're thinking. The app called "headspace" is a free and easy way to try it. Best of luck!
