I’m 32, spent some time in the Navy, built ships at a shipyard did a bunch of odd jobs while going to school and now work in IT support at a high school. My biggest piece of advice that has helped me is I always tell the interviewer that I stutter right off the bat. It helps ease the tension that generally arises when the stutter first shows up (which is usually during the first question). What also helped me is to always go to interviews even if you’re having second thoughts about the job. The more you put yourself out there and get out of your comfort zone, the easier it will get. Good luck.
