In college I had a classmate and later colleague (student run magazine) that had a stutter. By this point I had good control of my own and would tell professors and say little disclaimers before presentations that I stuttered. But I didn’t know how to talk to her about it without being weird. Her stutter was more prevalent than mine too and I thought I would come off rude or something. I think it’s the only time I met a female stutterer.
