I’ll try to be as honest and hard-hitting as possible. It’s going to be straight from the heart: If you haven't suffered from an accident/ trauma/ anything that might lead to a head injury/ brain damage, you should be seeing a speech pathologist or maybe a psychiatrist. I have met fellow stutterers who are your age. The only thing that I got to absorb was the fact that they developed this impediment owing to some accident. If everything is normal previously, and all of a sudden you wake up and find yourself having a little difficulty in getting the words out- a matter of urgency and immediate consultation.
