I started college as a computer science major and then accounting, thinking I wouldn’t have to talk to people much. I ended up with degrees in psychology and counseling psychology. I was a social worker for many years before taking a more administrative job. I thinking talking with people gets easier the more you do it. I really struggled with telephone use early on, but again, the more you do it... I would encourage you to follow a career path of your choosing regardless of having a stutter
