I was just thinking this today. I'm learning French and my stutter is _much_ more severe in French. I get various blocks in English, but French is just another level. Today I was exiting a shop in Switzerland, and as I was leaving I tried to respond to the shopkeeper that was saying goodbye. I got stuck after one letter and felt so embarrassed, as I grunted like No Face from Spirited Away...
