Stuttering more in one language Hello, Just as it is the case with many europeans, I speak mulitple languages. I have noticed a while ago that my stuttering is way worse when I speak French than when I speak any other language. Sometimes I just stand there but except for gurgling sounds, nothing comes out. It's like my lungs collapse and I can neither breathe nor speak. I have had that morenor less strong with every language, but over the time I have more or less managed to get rid of my stuttering problems in other languages. It only comes back when I'm very tired, stressed, hungover or if people caught me by surprise. In French I still stutter almost every time i speak it. Does this sound familiar to anyone else? Are there other people that stutter in one particular language but are fine in others?
