Opening up and disclosing it beforehand takes bravery and you should be proud of yourself for that. As 25-year-old male who stutters since birth, I rarely disclose it before a conversation with strangers, which can often lead to a mental struggle with myself. I've always thought we, people who stutter, are our own worst critics. I'm constatly trying to change that, but it's hard sometimes.
