Yes. As someone who has been through this, it's hardest on us. And not to make things worse, but it's a reality the OP needs to know, it may get worse. He'll need as much love and comfort at home as he can get because school could be hell. My stutter improved greatly basically the moment I graduated high school, no prizes for guessing why.
