That’s so interesting. I’ve definitely experienced moments where prosody overrides stuttering. Like reading to my kid. I’ll be reading some Dr. Seuss book or something else with very deliberate rhythmic meter and I’ll blow by words that usually give me trouble. I know that’s not exactly what prosody looks like in everyday social speaking, but there is a lot of rhythm in speech. I’ll try focusing on that both in singing and speech. It may eclipse fearful thoughts that still creep in.
