I went to a support group in the city I lived in during university. It was a great experience! I also had never met anyone else who stuttered before I went and when I got on the bus home after I started crying tears of relief because it was so nice to be in a group of people who truly understood. I moved away 7 years ago now after I finished my degree and still miss it! If you have the opportunity to attend a support group where you live, I would highly recommend you give it a try!
