Go for it. With teaching, the thing is that YOU are the driver of conversation, so you can operate at your pace and can pacify your stutters by using whatever fillers you use or whatever mechanism you use. With no one to rush you and students willing to work at your pace, you can impart knowledge and get your points across. I think that if the conversation is such that there is no script or standard answers and I could digress (not with respect to the topic, but with respect to the sentence structure) and basically have unlimited words, I can actually express myself much better. Teaching definitely does that for you.
