On being yourself/the idea that "you are not your stutter": At a certain point I needed to accept that being myself INCLUDES stuttering. I'm also very short and I wear glasses and my hair is kinda frizzy sometimes, and idgaf about any of those things so why should stuttering be any different? It's very much a part of who I am and how I interact with people, but it's one of many characteristics and I don't need to treat it as a separate special thing.
