It's really unfortunate if creditredditfortuth had experiences in that church where stuttering was spoken of as a sin, and I can see how some teachings (especially in the past) may have been interpreted by some people, even leaders in the church, to mean this. As an active member of the church and a person who stutters, I've never heard anything in my lifetime that remotely resembles that idea. Again, I can't speak for everyone's experience in terms of what they heard in church settings throughout their lives, but this is not something that the church teaches or implies.
