Yeah it definitely sucks! But, trust me it gets better. High school was hell for me as well. At least for me, now that I'm an adult 27 yrs old, I feel like once I accepted my faith and adapted an attitude of fuck it! life's become a lot better. This fuck it attitude as made me confident and outgoing and in turn made my stutter a bit better. I feel like we will all eventually find our own way of dealing with it. So all I can say is, stay strong you will eventually find a way and if you need someone to talk to you have me and this community to help you out. :) What do you mean when you say your stuttering is back? I'm curious cause I've always had a stutter. Was there a time when you didn't stutter? Why is it back now do you know? Edit: wanted to add talking to girls part: Yeah I never talked to girls in hs, but now that I think I wish I had the courage like i do now. it helps alot by letting them know that you stutter as soon as possible. there are alot of girls who find that fascinating and see us as "courageous" lol. Also we have alot of cool stories to share as we have been thru hell, u know the ones about ordering thru a drive thru and reading out loud in class or abt that one time when a cop pulled you over and asked for your name and you just couldn't say your name lol... If the girl is not into you than fuck it, talk to someone else She isn't worth your time anyways cause she is shallow. I know it's easier said than done but I have faith in you. It will get better and you will find your way.
