>How can I get a job or a bf if I don't tell people? Let's process this line of thinking. In your world, telling leads to getting, say, a bf. Because, well, surely this guy sees beyond your stuttering. The solution is simple. Just tell. Tell the whole world. How's that working out for you? You don't want to tell for fear of rejection, yet, here we are. You are not better off not telling. >They would find me weird Being a 1%er is not easy. Tell or don't tell; the 99% "normal" people may find you weird, or a novelty, it doesn't matter. If you are being interviewed, are you qualified for the job? If not, why not? What would it take to make you qualified next time? I'd stop targeting people as "potentials". Make friends by being friendly, etc. Yes, it is easy for me to say: \_so what if you end up living alone, lots of people do, and they are worse off than you\_ , because as social animals, we crave social interaction regardless of personality. But it's all baby steps ... one little change at a time. DM me for more of this.
