Advice?

Advice? I am a 21 year old male that has had a problem with stuttering my entire life. At times, it has been better than it is now. I moved out on my own about 10 months ago and the stress of it all seems to have caused me to stutter worse since then. It should be known that my case isn’t necessarily a “stutter”, more of a hesitation at this point. I know that I will stutter on certain words so I hesitate and try to find a synonym or choose not to speak. The problem is, I’ve recently gotten myself into a position where I will be forced to read in front of people weekly. This scares me. My self esteem has tanked since moving out on my own and I know that it’s counterproductive to my situation, I just can’t seem to pull myself out of it. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice, tips or tricks, or at least let me know that I am not alone in my struggles.
