Anyone else with a stutter that isn’t stereotypical? I have what I believe to be a stutter, but it’s not the stereotypical kind where you repeat consonants. I either repeat whole words, partial words (but not singular letters), or, most frequently, get an entire mental block. That’s when I can’t form any sounds whatsoever, or I can speak to apologize but I can’t say what I meant to say. And just overall, I have a hard time translating my thoughts into coherent words. I do just fine if I’m writing or typing, but speaking is a nightmare.
