Like don't do it out of impatience, but sometimes when I struggle to get something out but the message passed across, it's nice to have the receiver nod and integrate what i said in their response to clarify there's no misunderstanding, however I can see that it would take skill and a certain level of comfort between the two persons for it to not come across as impolite/annoyed.
